BRACKEN

Helen Bracken, 90, of Armagh, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.

Born Sept. 12, 1920, in Dilltown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie (Dias) Stewart.

She attended the Bethel United Presbyterian Church.

Helen is survived by her husband of 71 years, Murdick “Turk” Bracken; daughter, Donna Semetkoskey and husband Frank, of Indiana;

grandchildren Charles Sem-etkoskey, Toni Eaton, Theodore Semetkoskey and wife Brenda, Tamara Ohler and husband Charles, Lori Pease and husband Robert, and Joseph Semetkoskey and wife Karen; great-grandchildren Melody Semetkoskey, Tarah, Katie and Jacob Eaton, Tyson

Semetkoskey, Josie Ohler, Bobbi Pease, and Joey and Allison Semetkoskey; sister Grace Gavin, of Davidsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Mable, Ethel and Elzie Stewart, Mary Findley, William Stewart, Matilda Reed and James Stewart.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, Armagh, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor James Sunseri officiating.

Interment will be made in Armagh Cemetery.
