Anna Maria Fuchs:
"In the 1880's, Anna moved to Detroit, Mi and worked as an artist. After the death of her husband, she lived with her son, Leopold (Leo) and his family. When Leo died suddenly, she was shocked and upset and never returned to his home. She died in the Burtha Fisher Home (Little Sisters of the Poor), a nursing home in Southfield, Michigan, and gave them $28,000. When she died, the home called her former daughter-in-law, (Mrs. La Tourelle) and asked for $40.00 to bury her in a pauper's grave. Ms. La Tourelle arranged for her burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit."
