Peter Schneider Dies at Home

Peter [Schneider], 70, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday at his residence, 925 Pine street.

Born in Detroit Sept. 21, 1880, he had lived in Ludington since 1936. He was married in Detroit.

Mr. Schneider was a member of St. Simon's church.

He leaves his widow, Elizabeth; seven sons, Steven of Detroit, Anthony of Indian River, Norman, Edgar, Chester, Wayne and Jack of Ludington; four daughters, Mr. Madeline Potts of Wayne, Helen of Detroit, Mrs. June McClain and Miss Freda Schneider of Ludington; one brother, Anthony of Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Rademacher of Lansing and Mrs. Mary Gross of Detroit; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A son, Daniel, died six years ago.

Funeral rites will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday from St. Simon's church. Burial will be in Lakeview cemetery.

The body will remain at Butler-Morrison funeral home until time of services.
