WILLICK, Meril - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Welland County General Hospital on Thursday July 18, 2013 at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Joan Marie (2008) for 57 years. Cherished father of Rick (Sadie) Willick, Randy (Bev) Willick, Ron (Glenda) Willick, Peter (Karen) Willick, Regina (Ken) Chew, Alan (Kathy) Willick, Neil (Joni) Willick and Margaret (Mike) Karner. Caring grandpa of Andy, Jessica, Timothy, Shawn, Eric, Elizabeth, Marianne, Rebecca, Susan, Ruth, Ian and great-grandfather of Andrew, Charles, James, Emily, Curtis and Elijah. Predeceased by his grandson Edward and daughter-in-law Debbie. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, with the Rite of Committal to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Snyder. The Vigil for Mr. Willick will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In memory of Mr. Willick, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and would be appreciated by his family.
