JACOBS, Harold F. - Of Gladwin, Michigan, age 83, died December 27, 2004 at Gladwin Pines Nursing Home, Gladwin. Mr. Jacobs was born June 24, 1921 to Frederick and Mary (Bierschbach) Jacobs in Flint. He was a supervisor for General Motors, A.C. Spark Plug, retiring in 1980 after 40 years. He was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Jacobs had lived in Gladwin County since 1985 coming from Flint. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; K of C; Reserve Officers Association for 20 years and retired as Major; President of Butman Neighbor Watch for 18 years; Meals on Wheels for 18 years; and very active with the Sugar Springs Recreation Community for 14 years. Harold married Rita (Waldon) Jacob in 1946 in Flint. Surviving are: wife, Rita Jacobs of Gladwin; daughter, Kathleen M. Christle of Flint, son, Lawrence R. (Molly) Jacobs of Lapeer, daughter, Barbara A. (Richard) Kerriush of Milford, daughter, Theresa C. Airgood of Flint, son, Thomas M. (Sandra) Jacobs, Naubinway, daughter, Rita F. Jacobs of Flint, daughter, Rene F. Jacobs of Burton; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald V. (Mary) Jacobs of Lupton, Harry Jacobs of Flushing. He was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Lloyd and Bruce, sister, Dorothy Cady, grandsons, Timothy Christle and Daniel Christle. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin, MI, Rev. Fr. Patrick Jankowiak officiating. Burial in Veterans Cemetery, Holly, MI. Visitation Wednesday from 2-9PM at Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI with a wake service at 7PM. Memorial service will be held on January 9, 2005 at Holy Redeemer Active Center in Burton. Memorial contributions may be made to Mid-Michigan Hospice; Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Sugar Springs Memorial Fund. HALL FUNERAL HOME GLADWIN, MI
