Okum, Bernice (nee Straus)
Passed away with family by her side at Columbia Forest Long Term Care on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband William John "Jack" Okum (1994). Loving mother of Janet (deceased - 1984) Charles (Gillian), John and David (Pauline Gay). Proud grandmother of Linda (Sugato), Yvonne (Brent), Jacqueline (Dejan), Cassandra, Stephanie (Jeff), Caitlin (David), A.J., Zach and Josh. Great-grandmother of Simone, Lillian, Elise, Ana and Mila. Survived by her sister Elizabeth and brother Carl (Angie). Predeceased by her sisters Frances, Eileen and Helen, and brothers Jerome, Ralph and David. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and family. Special thanks to the staff at Columbia Forest and St. Mary's Hospital for their compassionate care.
