VOISIN, Aloysius “AJ” – passed away, peacefully, at the Welland County General Hospital on May 9, 2010 in his 82nd year. Loving companion of Maureen. Beloved father of Kim Watson (Nicholas), the late Lynn Kettridge (Kim), Bill Voisin (Emmy), James Voisin (Luisa), Connie O’Leary (Michael) and Julie Matthews (Ron). Cherished grandfather of Abi (Scott), Jaime (Eric), Derek, Paul, Danielle, Nastacia, Octavia, Kennedy, Rachel, Austin, Lucy, Jessica and Justin. Survived by his brother John Voisin (Gail), sisters Margaret Weishar (Ken), Veronica Donaldson (Tom), Cecilia Meredith, Mary Chabot (Real), Rose Kinzie (Harvey), Eleanor Robertson and sister-in-law Sheila Voisin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Antonia “Toni” (nee Mikolajczyk), brother Joseph and sister Christine (Edward Batte) and brother-in-law Gord Meredith. AJ retired in 1993 after 47 years of service as a line man with Ontario and Welland Hydro, was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid race walker. Friends are invited to visit the family at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Friday, May 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Friday at 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Parish Community of St. Kevin on Saturday, May 15th at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Rite of Committal in Holy Cross Cemetery.
